About the Miami Valley Youth Soccer Association

Miami Valley Youth Soccer Association (mvysa) is a select soccer program that offers the children of the Miami Valley area the opportunity to play soccer. The league was incorporated in 1980 as part of the Ohio South Youth Soccer program that now caters to over 60,000 players in the southern portion of Ohio with most of the players coming from Cincinnati, Dayton and Columbus .

Miami Valley Youth Soccer Association gives 5 to 20 year old girls and boys the opportunity to advance their soccer skills in a competitive environment. Our goals are to stress sportsmanship, skill development and to have FUN.

The players come from as far west as Eaton and Greenville, as far east as Jamestown and Springfield, as far south as Hamilton and Wilmington and as far north as Wapakoneta with all the communities in between (the counties of Preble, Montgomery, Greene, Clark, Champaign, Logan, Shelby, Darke, Mercer, Auglaize, Fayette, and Miami). mvysa has over 250 teams that participate in the fall season and over 275 teams that compete in the spring season.

As a select league players are choosen by teams (most often by open tryouts) and the teams (most often through their club) sign up to play in the league. Parents wishing to involve their child in a select program should contact one of the clubs listed in list of clubs in the Contacts link on the left side menu.
